As a Legal Officer, you will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance to our team. This role involves visiting courts, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures. You will work closely with our Collections team to resolve legal matters efficiently and effectively.
• Visit courts and attend legal proceedings as required. • Maintain and update legal records and databases. • Research and analyze legal issues and provide recommendations. • Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements. • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. • Provide legal advice and support to the Collections team. • Collaborate with other departments to address legal concerns. • Monitor and stay updated on changes in legislation. • Handle and resolve legal disputes and claims. • Assist in developing and implementing legal strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field. • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal role. • Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures. • Excellent research and analytical skills. • Proficient in legal writing and drafting. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. • Proficiency in legal software and databases.
