As a Legal Officer, you will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance to our team. This role involves visiting courts, maintaining legal records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will work closely with our collections team to resolve legal matters and provide expert advice. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be key in this role.

• Visit courts and attend legal proceedings as required. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date legal records and documentation. • Provide legal advice and support to the collections team and other departments. • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. • Research and analyze legal issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks. • Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements. • Liaise with external legal counsel and other professionals as needed. • Stay updated on legal trends and changes in legislation relevant to our industry. • Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and negotiations. • Perform any other legal-related tasks as assigned by the management.

• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field. • Admission to the bar or equivalent legal qualification. • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar legal role, preferably in a corporate setting. • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures. • Excellent research and analytical skills. • Proficiency in legal writing and drafting. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. • Proficiency in MS Office and legal software is an asset.
