As a Legal Officer, you will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance to our team. This role involves visiting courts, maintaining data, and ensuring the company's compliance with legal regulations. You will work closely with the Collections team to resolve legal matters and provide expert advice.
• Visit courts and attend legal proceedings as required. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date legal records and documentation. • Provide legal advice and support to the Collections team and other departments. • Research and analyze legal issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks. • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. • Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements. • Liaise with external legal counsel and other professionals as needed. • Stay updated on legal developments and industry trends. • Assist in the resolution of legal disputes and negotiations. • Perform any other legal-related tasks as assigned by the management.
• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field. • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal role, preferably in a corporate setting. • Strong knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and regulations. • Excellent research and analytical skills. • Proficient in legal writing and drafting. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. • Proficiency in using legal research tools and databases.
