About this role
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented SAP BASIS Consultant to lead our SAP system administration and management efforts. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, NetWeaver, and related technologies, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance across our SAP landscape.
• End-to-end administration of SAP S/4HANA and related databases (HANA & Sybase) • Coordinate system upgrades, kernel patches, and support package implementations • Configure and maintain SAP Solution Manager, including EWA and vulnerability management • Ensure high system availability and manage performance bottlenecks • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless SAP operations • Support regular maintenance activities, including backups and DR drills • Manage transport landscape, system copies, and refreshes • Monitor SAP services, jobs, and logs, addressing alerts proactively • Implement security best practices and coordinate SAP security patches
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering • SAP BASIS or HANA certification is preferred • Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP BASIS experience • Proven expertise in SAP Solution Manager configuration • Strong understanding of SAP security and compliance standards • Excellent communication and coordination skills • Experience with SAP HANA DB administration and Sybase ASE • Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP Cloud (BTP) is an asset • Knowledge of SAP PI/PO, BW/4HANA, and GRC procedures is advantageous • Basic Shell scripting skills for system administration tasks
