Job summary

We are a forward thinking, patient centered training practice with a list size of 14,000 patients and a dedicated team of 32 staff. We are looking for an enthusiastic, IT literate individual to join us as a Receptionist, supporting both our patients and clinical team.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

Frontofhouse patient support greeting patients, managing checkins, and handling queries Telephone and appointment coordination answering calls, booking appointments, and signposting Administrative tasks processing prescriptions, updating records, and supporting clinical staff Maintaining confidentiality ensuring all patient information is handled securely Hours & Salary

We welcome both fulltime and parttime applicants Applicants must be able to work at least between 8am and 11am Salary is negotiable, depending on experience

Job description Job responsibilities

Job responsibilitiesAs a GP Practice Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the practice. The role requires someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Will need to be part of total triage team. Will have 2 weeks introductory session with senior colleague and will be trained for total triage. System one is our computer system.

Key Responsibilities Reception:

Greeting patients and handling telephone/email enquiries in a professional & friendly manner

Booking, amending, and cancelling appointments using our clinical system

Processing prescriptions, referrals, and other administrative tasks

Handling patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy

Supporting clinicians with administrative tasks, including medical coding and scanning.
