Grant Casino| Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm | Start Rate: $21.23| Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Grounds Lead is responsible for maintaining the appearance and upkeep of Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma properties. This is a working lead position that provides direction and oversight to a grounds maintenance crew while ensuring assigned properties are maintained to established standards. You will report to a Grounds Supervisor or Manager. Primary Tasks:
• Lead and support a grounds maintenance crew to ensure work is completed efficiently, meets established quality standards, and reflects pride in workmanship.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to ensure team members understand assigned tasks and properly operate equipment.
• Assist with inventory control, including monitoring, maintaining, and organizing grounds equipment and supplies.
• Recommend improvements to enhance grounds maintenance programs, processes, and overall property appearance.
• Coordinate and deliver supplies and equipment to assigned facilities as needed.
• Promote and enforce adherence to safety policies and safe work practices.
• Support performance management activities, including providing input on performance reviews and addressing performance concerns.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
• Valid Driver's License • Read and follow written or oral directions for tasks • Understand government public health regulations, as needed • Understand and follow safety standards related to performance of the job • Experience in lawn equipment maintenance and repairs • Three [3] years of commercial groundskeeping or landscape experience
