About this role
Candidate will be a security support person within the CPC. In this role, the candidate: Processes clearance reinstatements, initial clearances, periodic reinvestigations, etc. for multiple site locations throughout the United States. Request, validate and review security forms SF85 & SF86. Manages security actions related to employee new hire actions (briefings, etc.), terminations (debriefings, etc.), transfers, and indoctrinations (for subs and employees). Processes all phone calls and faxes to the CPC and directs them to the appropriate contact or assists the employee directly Sorts and manages workloads assigned to the Personnel Security Specialists within the CPC through the PAR and CSCS systems. Tracks timely completion and ensures appropriate action is taken on each clearance case. Serves as the backup to numerous agencies when security specialists are unavailable. Track and monitor process from cradle to grave through appropriate report reviews and actions, to include periodic reinvestigations. Organizes a weekly termination list that is dispersed to all FSOs in the sector. This list lets each FSO know exactly what actions still need to be completed for each employee terminating with BAE Systems. The coordinator is also responsible for linking and organizing security files so personnel documents are properly searchable and retained/dispositioned per retention policies. In addition to these responsibilities, this position takes on ancillary responsibilities for the security department, such as serving as the single point of contact for UiPath automation projects, website and Sharepoint site management, and other opportunities as they arise. The individual in this position is expected to grow and take on additional duties, creating a career path for a junior security professional.
