Working within military and aerospace contracted programs. We build and test classified and unclassified spacecrafts. You will work with integration of bus level, optic or component level spacecrafts through Integration Test, and Environmental Testing. These tests will require operations using Digital multimeters, O-Scopes and ESD testing equipment. Comfortability of working elevated and in tight spaces. As a Technician in the Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit, you’ll be integral to our collaborative, cross-functional teams that are committed to innovation, integrity, and execution. In this role, you will conduct and support performance and functional tests on flight hardware, including electronic boards, antennas, and subsystems, during all phases of the hardware evolution process. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all systems meet performance standards, contributing to mission success. Our collaborative, cross-functional teams are committed to innovation, integrity, continual learning and strong execution. What You’ll Do: Work under limited supervision alongside engineering team. Routine work requires no instruction. General instructions given for new assignments. Errors may be difficult to detect and would normally result in loss of customer business, material or equipment to resolve. Contacts are typically with individuals within own department and occasionally with contacts outside own organization. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation. Apply basic computer skills to input and access data via computer interface. Perform other duties as necessary, comprising of reading schematics and test procedure's including but not limited to editing and writing new procedures. Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Perform other duties as necessary. On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required. Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
