As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our organization. You will be responsible for managing payroll data, calculating and processing employee payments, and maintaining payroll records. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a strong understanding of payroll regulations and best practices.
• Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments to employees. • Calculate and apply various deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings. • Maintain and update employee records, including personal and payroll information. • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and laws, staying updated on any changes. • Resolve payroll-related queries and provide support to employees. • Generate and analyze payroll reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement. • Collaborate with the HR team to align payroll processes with company policies. • Implement and maintain payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and security. • Assist in auditing payroll records and processes as required. • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in payroll management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll operations or a related field. • Proficiency in MS Excel for data manipulation and analysis. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive payroll information. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with employees and stakeholders. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • A B.Com degree or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field. • Knowledge of payroll software and systems is preferred. • Understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws applicable to the region. • Strong organizational skills and a systematic approach to work. • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset to address payroll challenges.
