Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a GP seeking a positive working environment and a chance to make a genuine difference within our patient population. We are a friendly, two-site training practice based in Thorpe Hesley and Bellows Road, Rawmarsh caring for 5800 patients.
Easily commutable from Sheffield, Barnsley and Doncaster and surrounding areas.
We are looking for an innovative GP who is a strong team player and who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and someone who can contribute to the ongoing development of our practice and wider multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
This post is for a salaried GP to work 4 to 6 sessions per week.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a patient facing role to clinically assess and diagnose patients.
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and forward-thinking GP who wants to work within a small, supportive and friendly team.

About us
We are a well-established innovative, successful and team focused practice.
Our team consists of a highly skilled team of 2 ANP's, 1 LTC nurse specialist, 2 experienced and supportive nurse practitioners and Practice nurses, 2 HCAs/phlebotomists as well as a full complement of care navigators and an incredible administration team and an approachable and forward-thinking Leadership Team.
In addition, we have a variety of ARRS roles to complement our provision which includes Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, First Contact Physios, Mental Health team, Social Prescribers and Dementia nurse specialists.
Our staff are highly skilled and knowledgeable and are committed to providing high quality care and services to our practice population.

Job responsibilities
You will be expected to provide primary care services to patients of all ages- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments- Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses- Prescribe medications and administer treatments as necessary- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging or laboratory tests- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
