The Officer will play a crucial role in our Payroll Operations, ensuring smooth and compliant payroll processing. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing compliance notices, and effectively communicating with relevant authorities. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of compliance.
• Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, and LWF regulations for payroll processing. • Manage and respond to compliance notices and inquiries from authorities. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and documentation. • Handle liaison activities with government departments and agencies. • Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring all employees are paid correctly. • Stay updated with any changes in payroll-related laws and regulations. • Assist in the implementation of payroll-related policies and procedures. • Provide support and guidance to the payroll team as needed. • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations. • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive payroll information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison. • Knowledge of PF, ESIC, PT, and LWF compliance and regulations. • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with numbers. • Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Familiarity with payroll processing software is preferred. • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role or industry. • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is advantageous. • Willingness to stay updated with changing payroll regulations.
