BAE Systems Maritime Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Communications Manager to lead our communications efforts and drive strategic messaging across various channels. As a key member of our communications team, you'll develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies that showcase our company's expertise, products, services, and workforce. This role is for someone with 8+ years of relevant communications experience, with a proven track record of success in strategic campaigns, media relations, internal communications and executive messaging. Responsibilities: Strategize, develop and execute internal and public relations communications strategies and frameworks that align with company goals and objectives Create and disseminate key messages, press releases, and other communications materials to various audiences, including media, customers, and employees Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, influencers, and industry partners Develop crisis communications plans and protect overall public relations posture of the organization Serve as a strategic advisor to partner functions in support of major organizational objectives, to include management, human resources, and business development Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including safety, health & environment, marketing, government relations, business development, and product management, to ensure consistent messaging and branding Analyze and report on communications metrics and performance
