As the Team Leader Collections, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our Collections | FOS department. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and guide a team of Collection Executives, ensuring they deliver exceptional customer service and achieve collection targets. You will be a key contributor to our company's overall financial objectives, working closely with the management team to develop and implement effective collection strategies.
• Lead and motivate a team of Collection Executives, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. • Monitor and evaluate team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements in debt collection practices. • Handle complex customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely and effective resolutions. • Collaborate with other departments, such as Customer Service and Legal, to resolve customer issues and ensure a seamless customer experience. • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, provide feedback, and address any concerns. • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in debt collection, sharing knowledge with the team. • Maintain accurate records and documentation of collection activities, ensuring data integrity. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and internal teams. • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new Collection Executives, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the collections industry. • Proven track record of successfully managing and motivating a team. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. • Working knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent time management and organizational skills. • Willingness to adapt and embrace change, with a proactive and innovative mindset.
