As a Welder, you will: Welding Operations: Perform precise welding on various materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminum) in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to plan layouts. Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain welding equipment, including torches, grinders, and welding machines. Quality Control: Inspect completed welds for flaws and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Safety Adherence: Maintain a clean work area and strictly follow OSHA regulations, including using personal protective equipment (PPE). Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $29.00 to $35.00 per hour (or $60,320 to $72,800 annually). Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as shift differentials or the terms outlined in an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will ultimately determine your wages.
