If this sounds like the place for you, wed love to hear from you! ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member is to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals. Other responsibilities will include: Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options when dining. Ensuring that the standard operating procedures set dining tables. Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options. Being aware of residents dietary requirements.

Main duties of the job In this role as a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will be part of a supportive team environment at Avery Healthcare, dedicated to making a positive impact on residents lives. Your primary focus is to support dining services and assist residents with their meals, ensuring their needs and preferences are met with care and respect. Responsibilities include aiding residents in meal selection, setting dining tables as per standard procedures, maintaining cleanliness and order in the dining area, and providing fresh homemade snacks in the bistro areas. Youll also need to be aware of and cater to any specific dietary requirements. A commitment to personal hygiene standards and a passion for providing exceptional culinary service are essential. Experience in similar settings such as restaurants or hotels is desirable, along with a basic Food Hygiene Certificate, although not mandatory.
