Job summary
The opportunity has arisen for us to offer a 6 months Secondment or fixed term contract as a Specialist Static Band 6 Respiratory Physiotherapist at Conquest Hospital
The successful candidate will work as part of an inter-professional team with supervision from a senior physiotherapist. Independently managing a caseload of complex respiratory patients who require both timely and comprehensive assessment and rehabilitation within the acute hospital.
Main duties of the job
To provide specialist respiratory physiotherapy to patients, working within critical care and acute wards, as part of an inter-professional team. This may also include supporting the 'Post critical care follow-up and rehabilitation' services
Participate as a member of the team, managing a clinical caseload within the clinical standards, guidelines, objectives and procedures of the team.
This role will require weekend and Bank Holiday working on a rota basis.
To support service improvement and delivery within the respiratory physiotherapy service.
Participate in health promotion and education of staff, patients and families.
The post holder will undertake regular Continual Professional Development (CPD) to support their lifelong learning and map their CPD Portfolio activities.

Qualifications Essential
Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy Current registration with HCPC Post graduate qualification or proven equivalent experience / training in a relevant field Evidence of continued professional development
