About this role

The Senior Manager, Workforce Operations will lead how we align labor capacity to demand, labor‑spend targets, and operational goals across our Field Services organization. In this role, you’ll translate demand forecasts into executable labor strategies, optimize scheduling and productivity, and partner closely with Regional and Operations Directors to drive efficiency and spend‑to‑target performance. You’ll also lead a small team and help shape an evolving Workforce Operations capability. What You’ll Do Develop and refine workforce strategies, including scheduling frameworks, route density, and overbooking/backfill approaches Translate demand forecasts into schedules across geographies, work types, and workforce segments Ensure labor capacity is deployed effectively to meet demand while optimizing cost and productivity Monitor key performance metrics (route fill rate, schedule efficiency, jobs per day, workforce mix, etc.) Partner with field leadership to improve labor deployment and operational efficiency Drive improvements in route density, scheduling effectiveness, and agent productivity Implement strategies to reduce appointment falloff and improve schedule stability Lead staffing strategies including training, reclassification, holiday staffing, and governance Build reporting and insights that inform labor planning and operational decisions Align workforce planning, scheduling, and field execution processes Basic Qualifications 4+ years in workforce management, field operations, or operational analytics 2+ years of people management experience Strong background in labor planning, scheduling optimization, and workforce performance management Experience with workforce management tools and analytics platforms Ability to translate data into actionable insights and influence field execution Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, liberal arts, or related field 5–8+ years of progressive experience supporting multi‑site or geographically dispersed workforces Advanced proficiency with workforce management systems, reporting, and data visualization Experience influencing senior field and operations leaders Background in enterprise‑level initiatives (technology implementations, process standardization, continuous improvement) Proven success leading large-scale scheduling or productivity initiatives.
