Job summary
We are looking for an experienced scientist to support education and training for our physiologist healthcare science workforce. The Trust employs 1300 scientists across the life sciences, physiological and physical sciences.
The successful candidate will have prior experience of training and mentoring and have a keen interest in clinical practice education and development. You will need to demonstrate that you are pro-active, highly motivated, well organised, have excellent inter-personal skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a senior team.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities will include the training and competency assessment of physiologists working in areas including audiology, cardiac physiology and lung function.
We are keen to hear from applicants with clinical expertise in these areas.
The post will be diverse and challenging, requiring a high level of enthusiasm and excellent communication skills. Leadership and management skills to ensure staff adhere to guidelines and protocols will be critical to the role.
