Job summary
We are seeking a motivated GP to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking practice under the GP Reimbursement Scheme.

The post is offered on a fixed-term contract until the end of March 2027, in line with the current GP Reimbursement Scheme arrangements. There may be the possibility of extension, subject to continuation of the scheme and practice requirements.

Main duties of the job
Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse and growing population Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic and coordinated care Participate actively in clinical and practice meetings, contributing to decision-making and service development Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold the highest standards of clinical governance Support continuity of care through follow-up of results, referrals, and chronic disease management Engage with practice audits, QI projects, and local health initiatives

We are a large, well-established practice serving approximately 18,600 patients. Our clinical team includes 9 experienced GP partners, supported by a wide multidisciplinary workforce and a highly skilled administrative team.

Job description Job responsibilities
You will be required to work exclusively at Queens Park Medical Centre. Main duties will include:
Face to face and telephone consultations Home visits Administration dealing with queries, prescriptions, test results, referral letters, tasks, hospital letters, emails and any other paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner. Cover all clinical management of the patients in surgery as appropriate, including initiating investigations, reviewing results and making referrals. Develop care and treatment plans in consultation with patients and in line with current guidance.

Qualifications Essential
- Hold a full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) on the General Practitioner Register - Legal right to work in the UK - On NHS England's Medical Practitioners list
