Description: Tyto Athene is searching for a motivated Software Engineer to support the development, deployment, and sustainment of mission-critical applications supporting a national user community. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver with a passion for building secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern cloud, containerization, and DevSecOps technologies while contributing directly to capabilities that support critical national security missions. Responsibilities: The Software Engineer will support the design, development, deployment, and sustainment of web-based applications that power mission-critical capabilities supporting a large national user community. Work within a collaborative Agile Scrum environment, the successful candidate will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, application design, coding, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing system enhancement. This position will work closely with senior developers, system administrators, analysts, and end users to develop secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions while ensuring adherence to secure coding standards and best practices. This person will assist in maintaining and enhancing existing applications, deploying new secure systems and services, troubleshooting software defects, conducting data processing and analysis activities, and preparing technical reports and briefings.
