About this role
The Valet & Bell Person transports luggage, parks and retrieves customers’ passenger vehicles, provides information and directions to guests, and extends a helping hand to all incoming and outgoing guests in accordance with Caesars Service training.
• Acknowledges and greets each guest with enthusiasm and prescribed terminology immediately upon the guests’ arrival. • Creates excitement through guest interaction and conversation. • Drives and parks cars to designated area of Caesars parking lot.
• Executes four-star service by accurately transporting guests’ luggage to the room assigned after the registration process is completed. • Picks up guests’ luggage upon departure and transports to transportation or delivers for storage. • Safely returns any cars from the valet parking area back to customers. • Provides “Fast and Flawless” guest service by providing guests with information regarding Hotel/Casino amenities, special events, and travel directions. • Assists guests with room changes and maintains room key security. • Actively participates in maintaining a “Spotless” and safe working environment. • Completes required room slip information and submits and forwards to the appropriate personnel. • Follows and ensures compliance with all established safety and security guidelines. • Acts as a role model to other employees and always present oneself as credit to Caesars and encourage others to do the same. • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. • Prior experience as a Bell Person/Doorman or Valet Parking Attendant preferred. • Active LA Driver’s License • Must be able to obtain Responsible Vendor certification • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. • Ability to lift and carry baggage up to 100 pounds. • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. • Must possess excellent interpersonal, team building, and problem-solving skills. • Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team. • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including Holidays. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must genuinely like people and possess an outgoing personality. • Ability to lift heavy luggage repeatedly. • Must be able to drive all types of passenger vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions in a safe fashion.
• Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift objects that weigh up to 100 pounds. • Must be able to push and/or pull heavy rolling loads in excess of 300 pounds. • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. • Must present a well-groomed appearance. • Works closely with chemicals such as glass and hard surface cleaning solutions. • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke. • Must be able to work independently. • Must be able to work and quickly maneuver inside and outside, sometimes-in temperatures in excess of 115 degrees and as cold as 10 degrees.
