Are you an experienced Nurse or Allied Health Professional ready to step into a leadership role?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Clinical Team Lead to join our Community Parkinson's Specialist Service in North Hampshire. This is a pivotal time to join a forward-thinking, multidisciplinary team, where you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality care for people living with Parkinson's disease.

As a Clinical Team Lead, you will work in close partnership with the Parkinson's Disease Nurse Specialist (PDNS) to provide clinical leadership, service development, and expert care delivery across the community.

Main duties of the job

You will:

*Lead and manage a specialist caseload, ensuring high standards of patient-centred care

*Provide clinical leadership and supervision to team members, supporting development and best practice

*Oversee caseload management, referrals, admissions, discharges, and care coordination, ensuring safe and effective service delivery

*Deliver and support education, training, and mentorship for healthcare professionals across the system

*Drive quality improvement and service development initiatives, contributing to the ongoing evolution of the service

*Ensure care delivery aligns with NICE, NMC/AHP standards, and Department of Health guidance

You will work across a variety of community settings, including patients' homes, care homes, and community hospitals, demonstrating advanced assessment and decision-making skills.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Diploma/degree in nursing or Physiotherapy Current RN registration with the NMC or Physiotherapy HCPC registration Able to demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development Registered Nurse at Level 1 Relevant Parkinson's qualification obtained at recognised centre or willingness to undertake training. Relevant post qualification experience. Non Medical Prescribing Qualification (or working towards it). Hold current registration as an Independent and Supplementary non-medical prescriber with the NMC. Valid driving licence.

Desirable

Relevant first level degree. Teaching qualification Leadership/management qualification

Experience Essential

Knowledge and understanding of the National Guidelines for governing care of people with Parkinson's. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to multi-disciplinary team working. Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with other agencies. Willingness to demonstrate the potential for 'change management' approaches which extend existing practices Exposure to, understanding of and competence in IT facilities and systems. Significant experience of the care of people with Parkinson's.

Desirable

In depth experience of the care of people with Parkinson's Experience of caseload management. Experience of service development. Able to illustrate examples of service development initiated by the candidate.

Additional Criteria Essential

Able to prioritise workload and manage capacity according to demand. Ability to fulfil the travel requirements of the post. Current driving licence and access to vehicle for work. Ability to identify own training needs and undertake professional development Effective communication skills (written and verbal), both inter-professionally and multidisciplinary within the organisation Ability to adapt to change within working situation Profession specific skills regarding treatment techniques Ability to work in a busy environment

Desirable

Evidence of participating and delivering training to multi-disciplinary teams and students Supervision and mentorship experience Able to manage, supervise and direct a team and support staff as appropriate.
