About this role
Your Role
• Provide guidance on employee-related matters, i.e. employment legislation, performance management, and HR policies • Build management capability in handling people topics effectively and independently • Act as a trusted advisor to managers, coaching them through sensitive and complex people topics • Manage and execute employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding • Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and HR documentation in line with German labour law • Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with internal standards • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in HR systems • Liaise with payroll, benefits providers, and finance to ensure accurate and timely processing • Liaise with external providers including Occupational Health, benefits providers, and other HR service partners
Your Experience
• 3–5 years of HR experience in Germany, ideally in a generalist or operational HR role
• Solid knowledge of German labour law and HR best practices
• Experience in an international or matrix organisation is preferred
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
• Ability to balance operational execution with advisory responsibilities
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Collaborative team player with a service-oriented mindset
