Responsibilities As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecommunications projects. You believe in getting the job done right. Be the best. And you're up for the challenge. Other responsibilities will be: Operate light construction equipment, including backhoe loaders, cable plows, trench excavators, hydraulic reel trailers, and other types of machinery, and ensure their maintenance as needed. Diagnose problems as they arise in the field. Read and understand utility locations and utility indicators on the surface to ensure equipment safety and a high level of productivity. Qualifications About you: Safety is part of your day-to-day life. You have a track record of completing work to a high level of quality. You have a talent for solving difficult problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work. You are looking for long-term projects. You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your gear. You have experience operating heavy equipment on a construction site. The MOS codes 12N, 12V, 21E, and 21J relate well to this position. Hard work is rewarded.
