Job summary

On 1 April 2026, the four acute hospital trusts in north west London - Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust - formally came together as the North West London Acute Provider Group.

We are now recruiting to the role of Group Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer. This is a rare opportunity to shape the next phase of our journey and we are seeking an exceptional strategic leader with the insight, focus and resilience to help deliver our ambitions. You will have a strong track record in leading complex transformation at scale and the ability to build trusted relationships across clinical and corporate teams.

Person Specification

Experience Essential

Significant experience operating at Board or executive level in a large, complex organisation / system. Proven track record of developing and delivering organisational or system-wide strategy with demonstrable impact across a broad range of measures. Substantial experience leading major, multi-disciplinary transformation or change programmes at scale. Experience of working across organisational boundaries, including system or partnership-based environments. Evidence of translating strategic ambition into prioritised programmes and sustained delivery.

Education Essential

Educated to degree level, or equivalent. Able to evidence continuing professional development.
