Main duties of the job As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare in Chertsey, you'll be integral to providing high standards of personal care and ensuring the dignity, independence, and respect of residents. Working shifts from 7:00 to 13:30, including every other weekend, you'll focus on making a positive impact on residents' lives daily. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene care, recognizing and escalating clinical risks, and maintaining respectful interactions with residents and visitors. Avery promotes a compassionate and supportive workplace, offering opportunities for professional growth. Experience is not necessary as training is provided. Candidates should communicate effectively, show initiative, and be adaptable to various responsibilities. A DBS check by the company is required.

Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner. Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident. Practicing safe systems of work across the range of task.ABOUT YOU

Qualifications Essential

Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate initiative, and be adaptable. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.
