About this role
• Learn to obtain accurate and concise patients, history, patients’ information such as seizure types, date of last seizure any medication taken by the patient. • To perform and interpret Electroencephalography (routine, sleep, and electro cerebral silence.) • To perform special procedure EEG such as neonatal recording in the intensive care nursery. • To perform EEG specialized study at the bed side of critical patients in the intensive care units. • To perform Nerve conduction studies (NCS) like Motor nerve conduction study, sensory nerve conduction study, Late response study of F – wave study, Repetitive nerve stimulation study, H reflex and blink reflex studies etc. • To perform Evoked potential studies like Visual Evoked potential study (VEP), Brainstem Auditory Evoked response study (BAER) and Somato sensory Evoked potential studies (SSEP).
