Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Inventory Control Specialist - 1st Shift at our Oakleys Ct site in Richmond, VA. The pay rate for this position is 23.80 per hour. What you’ll do: Position Overview: The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for Support management as needed to accomplish Eaton’s overall objectives of providing on-time delivery of quality products. Support and initiate actions with management to ensure that personnel comply to the company’s policies and performance/productivity levels. In this function you will: • Be responsible for root cause analysis on troubled inventory • Ability to find lost inventory items • Ability to understand inputs and outputs of inventory systems • Ability perform cycle counting as needed • Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision • Ability to coordinate with team lead, inventory workers, and material handlers to solve various issues. • Ability to effective use ERP systems and basic Microsoft applications (excel) • Ability to work cross functional across plants • Ability to operate forklift and electrical pallet jack as needed. • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
