Seek passive candidates within the community. Creates and maintains candidate pools of qualified candidates through frequent contact and notifications of positions. Builds pipelines of qualified candidates. Builds applicant sources by researching & contacting community services, sourcing in the local community, schools & colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media and internet sites. Develops job posting, social media strategies and local community marketing. Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions. Problem solves, finds creative ways to generate new qualified applicants Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Makes recommendations for organization attractiveness. Schedules orientation for new hires and ensures that offer letters, resumes, and pre-employment paperwork are completed and signed by the applicant prior to orientation. Collaborates with hiring departments to create diversity and inclusion plans for recruitments as well as ongoing outreach programs. Provides guidance and acts as a subject matter expert. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
