System Administrator Position Summary: As a Systems Administrator you support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in Newport, RI and possess experience with NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET). You will be responsible for tracking, ordering, analyzing, and providing training related to NMCI hardware and software assets. Security Clearance Requirements: Active Secret clearance required Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Coordinate NMCI asset orders with NUWCDIVNPT command NMCI POCs, perform asset management and reporting for deployed NMCI assets, and reconcile assets using the NET. Process Move, Add, Change (MAC) submissions on new and existing NMCI assets, track open MAC requests, and facilitate MAC completion using MAC system tools in NET. Compile NMCI cost and technical data from NET, analyze data for current and future requirements, and summarize data and analysis in a report to address GFI request. Provide life-cycle management for NMCI software including analysis of license expiration dates, and submission of a MAC request in NET for license renewal and changes. Coordinate with command NMCI POCs to make sure assets and peripherals are available, validate scheduling, and perform asset reconciliation upon completion of asset replacement. Upon receipt of service request, perform issue resolution. If unable to resolve the issue identified in the service request ticket, escalate the request to Government NMCI Activity Contract Technical Representative (ACTR) and track NMCI trouble ticket through completion. Provide users with NMCI related IT/IA training on enterprise systems.
