Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and motivatedAppointments Co-ordinator to join our busy and supportive Sleep Disorder Centre team at Queen Victoria Hospital.
This is a key administrative role, supporting the efficient running of the service through the co-ordination of patient bookings, waiting lists, and diagnostic pathways. You will play a vital part in ensuring patients receive timely care while helping the Trust meet important performance targets.
Main duties of the job
Co-ordinate and schedule outpatient, inpatient, and home diagnostic appointments Manage and maintainaccurate waiting lists and patient pathways Support delivery ofRTT (Referral to Treatment) targets through effective tracking and data entry Handle high volumes ofpatient calls and enquiries with professionalism and empathy Work closely withclinical teams to optimise clinic utilisation and patient flow Ensureclinic outcomes, DNAs, and pathway updates are accurately recorded Assist with the admin of the , in coordination and equipment management where necessary.
