Job summary
Leri Cancer Unit is looking to recruit an administrative officer to provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to the Chemotherapy (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy - SACT) Unit, Oncology and Haematology clinics, ensuring the smooth coordination of patient pathways, clinics, and treatment schedules while maintaining accurate records and supporting the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.
Main duties of the job
To provide a welcoming and polite reception to patients, relatives and carers from the main reception desk of Leri Cancer Unit. Leri Cancer Unit comprises of a treatment area delivering chemotherapy and Systemic anti cancer therapies and an outpatient clinic area. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the chemotherapy unit and outpatient clinics as described in the detailed job description.
This role requires a motivated candidate with excellent communication skills, computer literacy and willingness to learn. Previous experience in an administrative role would be welcomed, however, full training will be provided.
