Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Logistics Supervisor for one of our partners, a global leader in Information Technology Services & Consulting!
Job Summary:
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for providing enough qualified and adapted resources to operations and to support all activities by providing services in the fields of operations workforce, ergonomic, warehouse organization and logistics, facilities, building maintenance and premises.
Responsibilities:
Workforce management (for operations)
Anticipate and determinate needs for operatorsDefining job descriptions for all operational roles
Workforce acquisition
Organizing trainingsWeekly planning for operationsProvide quickly a replacement is cases of absence and unavailability of an operatorDRI - responsible for the reporting (hours/contracts)Personnel administration management of the operational teamEvaluation of the operational team (in collaboration with Team leaders)
Ergonomics and Security
Provide advises and expertise about ergonomics of workstationsOrganize Security in the production area and in the warehouseImplement all health and safety requirements (legal and recommend for the activity)
Equipment, workstations and consumables
Update on request equipment stored in the warehouse
Warehouse management
Manage storage in the warehouseAnticipate the needs and take needed actionsImplement security rulesOperate with the forkliftReduce cost of storage (optimizing area, reduce sqm, facilitate localization and search)Check storage conditions (temperature, humidity etc.)Organize internal logisticsBuilding and facilitiesCheck of all needs for administrative, contractual or financial intervention
Technical and pre-sales expertise
Do expertise in AV for as a pre-sales support or once a contract is won and an expertise is neededRequirements
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse management, or operational supervision, ideally within an audiovisual, media, or production environmentProven experience in workforce planning and coordination, including shift scheduling and replacement managementExperience managing a multicultural, shift-based team is highly desirable.Demonstrated ability to work within health and safety standards & best practicesPrevious exposure to ergonomic assessment and workstation optimization is a strong assetFamiliarity with AV logistics, production workflows, or pre-sales technical support is a plusProficient in inventory control systems, barcode scanning, and ERP or warehouse management softwareForklift certification (or willingness to obtain it within the first 3 months of employment) is preferred.Comfortable in a diverse, international team.
