The Maintenance Supervisor located in Cranberry PA is responsible for maintaining systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts; supervising staff. Job Responsibilities and Duties: - Manage, supervise and execute maintenance as well as related support activities for the site. - Supervise and direct maintenance technicians to ensure timely and effective completion of work orders, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs. - Monitor equipment performance and reliability, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, shift reports, and equipment history. - Ensures compliance with company safety and security standards, procedures and policies. - Assist with site environmental conformance as well as hazardous material programs ensuring all Environmental, Health & Safety policies as related to the Maintenance Department - Support efforts to maintain adequate inventories of tools, supplies and parts to accurately repair all equipment. - Conduct proper follow-through on all maintenance issues. - Decide and deploy appropriate crewing arrangements for planned and unplanned situations based on absences, schedule requirements, equipment availability, and vacations - Identify and implement continuous improvement plans. - Provide asset management in a cost-effective manner including proper equipment operations and world class equipment availability. - Troubleshoot different equipment and systems failures. - Solve problems to the root cause to prevent a recurrence. - Effectively communicating with others within and outside the work group. - Providing leadership, direction and motivation to people in the assigned area. - Effectively manage employee day-to-day issues. - Manage contractors. - Schedule and supervise contractors’ activities including repairs and projects. - Support the implementation of Arconic Business System initiatives (lean manufacturing) including 5S, standardized work, work balance, product flow and TPM improvements. - Other projects as assigned.
