Main duties of the job
Provide General Medical Services in accordance with the GMS contract
Undertake surgery consultations, telephone and online consultations
Diagnose and manage patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions
Prescribe safely and appropriately in line with practice and national guidelines
Process and action laboratory results, clinical correspondence, and referrals
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records
Participate in practice meetings, clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activities
Work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team
Contribute to the training and supervision of medical and allied health professionals where appropriate

Borth Surgery is a purpose-built Health Centre, established in 1995, located on the main street of Borth, a charming coastal village nestled in the heart of Cardigan Bay. We are a highly community-focused practice, committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care while fostering strong relationships with our local population.

Job SummaryThe post-holder will provide high-quality, patient-centred General Medical Services in accordance with the GMS contract. The role includes the management of acute and chronic conditions, preventative care, and health promotion, while working as part of a multidisciplinary primary care team to deliver safe and effective services to the practice population.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Essential
