The HR Manager is a stand-alone, hands-on HR professional supporting a growing electrical manufacturing business, operating as the senior HR presence on site while working closely with a central corporate HR function, in a fast-paced environment.

The role combines operational HR delivery, people leadership at site level, and the implementation of corporate HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with group standards while tailoring approaches to the realities of a fast-paced electrical manufacturing environment and embedding a strong performance culture.

You will act as a trusted partner to site leadership, support a mixed shop-floor and professional workforce, and collaborate with HR colleagues across other group sites to embed consistent people practices.

Skills, Experience & Knowledge

Essential

CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)Proven experience in a stand-alone or highly autonomous HR roleBackground within electrical manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or technical environmentsStrong employee relations experience with confidence managing cases independentlyExperience supporting shop-floor and salaried employee populationsStrong understanding of UK employment legislationProven ability to work with senior stakeholders and operational leadersComfortable operating independently while working within corporate structures Desirable

Experience working within a group, or multi-site organisationExposure to organisational growth, change, or integrationExperience embedding corporate initiatives at site levelHRIS experience What This Role Offers
