Job SummaryYou will serve as a INVESTIGATOR in the Inspector General's Office of the Naval Education and Training Command.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge in investigative theory and evaluative methods, techniques, procedures and auditing in planning and conducting investigations; 2) Interpreting directives and policy to review investigations; 3) Utilizing written communication in preparing reports on investigations; 4) Briefing others on inspection results and ongoing investigations. Major DutiesYou will investigate complaints to obtain facts and information relative to violations of fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement.You will draft and review investigative reports.You will coordinate with the Command Inspection Program Manager and receiving commands to ensure requirements for the Command Inspection Program are met.
