QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 pay band (GS-12/13 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer using engineering knowledge/principles to provide leadership, technical and strategic direction, and oversight on programs and projects. Partnering with other organizations to direct advanced capability development efforts. Major DutiesYou will provide expert knowledge of Navy research, development, test, and evaluation environments and engineering processes, including mission execution across Warfare Centers and fleet support organizations.You will apply advanced modeling, simulation, and data analytics to assess performance of new technologies, evaluate operational effectiveness, and inform engineering investment decisions for future capabilities.You will assess current and projected mission requirements, identify capability gaps, and provide strategic guidance on the future direction of Detachment operations.You will manage complex engineering and technical projects and programs involving multi-disciplinary personnel, remote sites, and diverse technical capabilities.You will serve as a senior liaison with Pacific Theater customers, Warfare Centers, and Division leadership, representing the Detachment in high-level engagements and engaging in customer-driven requirements for and the execution of projects.You will lead and integrate Detachment operations, fostering collaboration, synergy, and mission alignment across multiple technical departments.You will respond effectively to internal and external customer requirements, ensuring timely, high-quality support to fleet and mission partners.You will communicate complex engineering concepts effectively at all levels, including senior Navy leadership, technical experts, and external partners.
