Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes demonstrating comprehensive knowledge and hands-on application of Security Assistance and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) management policies, processes, and procedures to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships; assisting in coordinating logistical and strategic arrangements for senior command staff visits; and utilizing current enterprise information and task management systems to draft, feed, and route a variety of correspondence, executive reports, position papers, fact sheets, taskers, and requests for data across organizations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).

Major DutiesEstablish and maintain effective relationships and communications at senior leader level to facilitate Foreign Military Sales and security assistance management policies, processes and procedures.Track actions of interest to the Command to report on them to senior leaders, internal chain of command and peers as applicable.Prepare a variety of correspondence, reports, position papers, fact sheets, and letters.Present the Command's positions on various Security Assistance and Security Cooperation issues to provides feedback to the command.Coordinate Regional Operations Director, Deputy and Division Chief itineraries.
