Job SummaryAbout the position: This position is assigned to the Auto Skills Center at F. E. Warren AFB, WY. This position is considered Flexible and is guaranteed 0.00 hours but has the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. You may be required to work some nights, weekends and holidays. Flexible employees are not eligible for leave or benefits. The starting pay for this position is $17.50 per hour.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: No specific experience is required. Practical knowledge and basic understanding of metric and standard tools, computer databases, and the ability to safeguard and handle cash are desirable. Must be able to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 background investigation.
Major DutiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responsible for upholding customer service by always operating and maintaining the Auto Skills Center Front Desk in an orderly manner Checks all outgoing and incoming equipment/tools to ensure operationally and general condition Notifies supervisor of any damage noted on equipment. Prepare receipts and documentation on pre-checkout briefings Arranges equipment/tools in displays and returns used equipment to specified storage areas Compute rental fees from data on receipt and appropriate fee schedules Collects and accounts for cash receipts Prepares daily cashier reports and deposits Performs on-the-spot minor maintenance of facility (e.g. including wet mopping , dusting, waxing and buffing floors, sweeping floors, trash removal, bathroom sanitation.) Performs and/or assists managers or mechanics in the operation and maintenance of indoor and/or outdoor facilities. Provides oral and written instructions to patrons and assists in resolving routine and non-routine repair questions. May drive vehicles, assist with vehicle hydraulic lifts, and movement of vehicles Performs other related duties as assigned. Physical Effort: Must be able to lift and carry objects and various parts and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
