QualificationsYour resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing investigations regarding unusual situations and/or violations of the law; 2) Conducting checkpoints/roadblocks at various locations to reduce criminal activity; 3) Inspecting packages/personal belongings when admitting personnel into controlled areas; and 4) Responding to emergency calls for service while adhering to state and federal laws. Major DutiesYou will control access of pedestrians or vehicular traffic to restricted areas.You will carry firearms or other weapons authorized for a specific jurisdiction.You will notify emergency personnel when issues arise to assist in protecting personnel, property, equipment, or facilities.You will possess authority to apprehend personnel, both combative and non-combative members of the public.You will perform other duties as assigned.
