About this role
To support in the planning and successful delivery of the Zayed Sustainability Prize events and activities in line with business unit needs and objectives.
Key Accountabilities :
Contribute to the identification of key global events to support the positioning of the Prize annuallyResearch, support and coordinate event participation and attendance in global events throughout the yearEnsure project plans are in place for all events the Prize is organisingIdentify all third parties required for the implementation of the Prize’s events and plan accordinglyComplete all requisition processes as required by procurementEnsure all event activities are implemented within budget and time constraintsConduct post-event evaluations and analysis to measure success and identify areas for improvementSupport in delivering the annual Awards Ceremony and relevant events and activities during Abu Dhabi Sustainability WeekSupport in the execution of the Prize events locally, regionally and internationally, in coordination with the relevant teamsEnsure the scheduling and logistics for approved events are completed as per time and standardsCoordinate all details with relevant teams for venue selection, branding, logistics, and collateralsDevelop creative briefs for events and coordinate with agencies, ensuring objectives and strategies are clearly identified to facilitate working jointly with internal departments and outside agenciesComplete all item requisition processes as required by ProcurementCoordinate with all third-party agencies where required to deliver events as per requirementsEnsure all event deliverables meet required quality, branding, and timeline standardsBuild and maintain a network of relevant contacts to support daily activities and long-term objectives of the teamEngage with and monitor relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure adequate knowledge transfer and completion of services as per agreed parametersPrepare relevant reports and updates as required and to the desired standardProvide management information as and when required by the line manager – this includes the production and timely provision of accurate reports in line with reporting schedulesAdhere to any applicable Masdar information security policies and procedures and identify and report security incidents and suspected weaknesses to the appropriate point(s) of contact.Protect assets under care (e.g. laptops and other devices) and information/credentials against unauthorized access, sharing, and/or damage/loss, in accordance with the Information Classification and Handling ProcedureClear desks of all sensitive material and log off/ lock workstations at the end of the day and when leaving desk for a prolonged period in accordance with Acceptable Usage Policies.Ensure not installing, copying or modifying of any software on Masdar equipment without authorization Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, event management, marketing, or related fieldPreferred Experience:
3-4 years of experience in marketing, events management and/or outreach supporting the achievement of key programmes and eventsJob-Specific Skills:
Advanced communication skills in English and Arabic (verbal and written)Good project management skillsStrong research and analytical skillsExcellent computer literacy, with strong background in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookExcellent ability to plan and organize workExcellent time management skills and ability to prioritize workAttention to detailThis role is based in Abu Dhabi, successful candidates will be required to be in our offices.
