The team works closely with internal GrabRentals (GR) stakeholders in making sure various processes are set up and carried out accurately and efficiently. The team is also responsible for the performance of external providers who carry out part operational tasks.

Get to Know the Role

You will turn fleet and rental data into actionable insights across our Private Hire Car (PHC), Taxi and Autonomous Vehicle (AV) businesses. Using data from rental agreements, arrears, telematics and maintenance, you'll uncover performance drivers, improve utilisation, reduce bad debt and enhance safety. You'll also design and evaluate experiments (e.g. policy or incentive A/B tests) and translate results into operational and product improvement

You will report to the Manager, Fleet Supply & Operations, onsite at our Grab One North office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Fleet & Rental Performance Analysis: Analyse rental, utilisation, arrears and bad debt data across PHC, Taxi and AV to identify drivers of yield, churn, bad debt and write-offs, and surface improvement opportunities.Risk, Arrears & Collections Analytics: Deep-dive arrears and bad debt by driver segment, contract type, vehicle class and tenure; develop segmentation, early-warning triggers and scorecards to support Collections and policy improvements.Telematics & Maintenance Insights: Leverage telematics and maintenance data to identify safety, misuse and vehicle health patterns, and recommend actions to reduce incidents, downtime and misuse; facilitate Analytics → Action (workshops/playbooks/nudges) with Fleet/Maintenance to embed improvements.Experimentation & A/B Testing: Design, track and evaluate experiments (e.g. incentives, policy or product changes), quantify impact, and recommend scale-up or rollback decisions.Dashboards & Monitoring: Build and maintain dashboards tracking fleet, rental, arrears and telematics KPIs; stand up partnership/KPI monitoringStakeholder Collaboration & Recommendations: Partner with PHC, Taxi, AV, Rental Ops, Driver Management, Insurance and Maintenance teams to translate business questions into analyses and deliver actionable insights; lead/coach CAPA for escalations and process/policy redesign as needed.Policy, Product & Strategy Support: Support policy and strategy decisions with data-driven inputs and track outcomes post-implementation; drive governance and S&OP/weekly–monthly reviewsProject & Stakeholder Management: Lead end-to-end analytics projects, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage timelines, and ensure execution and impact measurement; own the Resale Portal product roadmap and integrations (inventory, pricing, KYC, payments, comms) to improve conversion and automate post‑sale offboarding. What Essential Skills You Will Need

Degree holder in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field.You have at least 3+ years of relevant experience in analytics, business analysis, or operations / fleet-related roles.Working knowledge of SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik)Experience building dashboards and recurring reports to support decision-making.Experience in project management, including managing analytics or improvement initiatives end-to-end.Experience supporting change management, such as helping teams adopt new reports or policies based on data.
