WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
We are looking for a Senior Unreal Engine Cinematic Artist to bring stories to life with visually striking real-time cinematics. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality cinematics and gameplay sequences in UE5, collaborating closely with directors, designers, animators and technical teams to deliver emotionally engaging experiences.
What it means on a daily basis
Create high-quality real-time cinematics using Unreal Engine 5Translate storyboards and scripts into compelling visual sequencesUse Sequencer to build, edit and polish cinematic scenesCollaborate with animation, lighting, VFX, environment and technical teamsSet up cameras, composition, timing and pacing to support storytellingApply cinematic polish, including depth of field, motion blur and post-processingOptimise scenes for performance while preserving visual fidelityTroubleshoot and resolve creative and technical challengesWho you will be working with
You’ll join a collaborative team of 30 artists across multiple disciplines at our Brisbane Studio, contributing to an unannounced project.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Proven experience as a cinematic artist in games, film or real‑time productionExtensive knowledge of Unreal Engine 5, including Sequencer, cameras and rendering pipelinesThorough understanding of cinematography principles – composition, framing, lighting and timingExperience with animation pipelines and assetsA keen storytelling instinct and a good sense of visual pacingWHO YOU ARE
