About this role
As a Model-Based Software Engineer, you will join our team to support our activities within the Aerospace & Defence sector.
You will be working on advanced engineering programmes, contributing to the development of model-based software solutions for complex, safety-critical systems. This role focuses on simulation, system behaviour modelling, and supporting the development lifecycle within a highly regulated environment.

Develop and maintain model-based software designs (MBSD)Build and simulate system models using MATLAB/SimulinkSupport the development of control and system behaviour modelsContribute to requirements analysis and standards complianceCollaborate with systems and software teams across the development lifecycleSupport integration, testing, and validation activitiesParticipate in design reviews and technical assessments Required Skills:
Strong experience in Model-Based Software Design (MBSD)Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink (industry experience preferred)Experience working within complex or safety-critical systemsUnderstanding of requirements capture and standards reviewAbility to work within structured development environmentsRequired Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.Experience in model-based development or simulation rolesExposure to regulated engineering environments (aerospace, defence, etc.)Desirable Skills:
Experience within aerospace, defence, or naval sectorsUnderstanding of gas turbine systems or propulsion modellingExposure to DevOps or continuous integration environmentsFamiliarity with system integration and verification processes Why join us?
