We are seeking Analytical Service Officer (ASO) to join us on a casual basis from June 2026 .
The Analytical Service Officer is responsible for client liaising for sample receipt, discrepancies, daily scheduling of the analytical service and registration teams and all related processes. The Analytical Service Officer will also ensure efficient day to day operations of the analytical service and registration teams, including daily allocation of duties, meeting agreed turnaround times (TAT), and will have direct participation in meeting quality and efficiency standards and meeting objectives as directed by Analytical Service Manager and the Business Unit Manager.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Act as the primary liaison for client sample receipt, proactively managing enquiries and communicating sample discrepancies, validation requirements, and status updates to clients, internal stakeholders, and laboratory teams.Coordinate accurate sample registration and system setup, including eLIMS troubleshooting, login review, Environmental Monitoring order processing, and supporting AST creation and Go-Live activities for new clients.Ensure timely end-to-end sample flow to testing areas, maintaining clear client and laboratory communication to manage expectations, escalate delays or quality issues, and support delivery within agreed turnaround times (TAT).Act as a main link between the Client and the Laboratory.Follow documented laboratory procedures and quality records requirements, ensuring accurate sample information capture, correct handling, and complete maintenance of quality and compliance data.Consistently achieve operational performance targets, maintaining >95% turnaround time (TAT) and meeting daily output expectations set by management.Promote a safe, compliant, and continuously improving workplace, adhering to Health & Safety and PPE requirements, maintaining a clean and well-maintained environment, and supporting regulatory/accreditation standards and per the Laboratory Quality Manual.Liaise with the Quality team in providing quality results and documentations as required.Ensure all routine maintenance, calibration and monitoring within the teams are carried out according to company policy.Act in accordance with the Eurofins Code of Ethics, and all other relevant policies and procedures.Carry out special projects as directed by the Business Unit Manager, Analytical Service Manager. Candidates that have completed Diploma/BSc. or equivalent and knowledge of GLP/GMP.About you:
In addition to the qualification above, at least 1 year experience as an Analytical Service Officer (or in a similar role).Strong communicator with clients, laboratory teams and stakeholders.Confident with LIMS processes and solid MS Word/Excel skills.Able to train and support others to meet team standards.Team-focused, promoting positive working relationships and cooperation.Flexible to work varied day shifts (early starts/late finishes) during initial onboarding.Good Time management skills.Practical and adaptable: able to perform manual handling, with a can-do attitude, work under pressure and willingness to learn.
