As the Commercial Finance Lead – Trading Insights & Customer Profitability, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end IRO (Inflow, Retention, Outflow & Migrations) reporting across the Vodafone, Three, and CBU (Consumer Brand Unit), ensuring a seamless consolidation of performance metrics for senior leadership. You will act as the Commercial Finance owner for all S15/S18 dashboards, bridging the gap between raw data and actionable commercial insight through close partnership with the Data & Analytics team.
You will work closely with the wider Commercial Finance team to maintain and evolve Unit Economics (UE) models, ensuring "like-for-like" alignment across brands to drive profitable decision-making. You will be accountable for the accuracy of KPI consolidation across all brands.
You will provide critical support to the Consumer Business Unit (CBU) by drafting executive commentary for the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT) and maintaining a centralised view of Risks & Opportunities (R&O) across the combined business.
Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, a relentless attention to detail, the ability to be continuously thinking one step ahead as well as being fully aware of the overall VodafoneThree priorities.
IRO Performance Reporting: Lead the production of all IRO reporting . This includes specific reporting for Vodafone, Three, as well as total brand consolidation for weekly outlooks, month-ends, forecasts, and long-range plansPerformance Insight: Perform regular and ad-hoc performance deep-dives to identify opportunities that can be utilised to drive value into VodafoneThree and provide actionable insights to the commercial teams. This will be at all levels of granularity i.e. channel, tariff, product, customer types etcDashboard Management: Act as the point of contact with colleagues in D&A to build and drive new tools and dashboards to improve the quality and inputs of Finance reports, ultimately adding value to the business. Maintaining and evolving existing reports to keep them current and accurate will also be key.Unit Economics (UE) Management: Maintain ownership of all UEs, including the setup for Three on a "like-for-like" basis with established Vodafone models. Ensure continuous validation and evolution of these models to improve commercial accuracy and aid profitable decision makingKPI Consolidation: Deliver consolidated KPI reporting, including weekly and monthly performance reporting across Three & Vodafone to both commercial and finance colleaguesSenior Stakeholder Comms: Draft and deliver CBU (Consumer Business Unit) IRO commentary from the wider brands, ensuring clear and concise communication to the Commercial Leadership Team (CLT)Trading Cadence: Maintain active attendance in all Investment Forums and the Tuesday/Friday Trading meetingsR&O Management: Maintain a centralised view of R&O for Mobile & MBB across both Vodafone & Three, ensuring consistency across both brandsInvestment Forum Leadership: Take full ownership of the Investment Forum (cross brand meeting), including managing meeting invites, preparing presentation decks, and chairing the sessionsAd-hoc - Perform other related task and support projects as needed to support the evolving needs of the commercial finance team and wider VodafoneThree business ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualified AccountantExperience of reporting consolidation, pulling together summarised/combined views across multiple brands/teams/departments.Interest in designing performance reports & dashboards.Strong communication and influencing skillsContinuous improvement mindset – desire to continually evolve reporting/dashboards and seek out standardisation opportunities across the brands and businesses to create a unified, consistent approach Worried that you don’t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
