About this role
Reporting to the FM Director, you will lead a geographically dispersed team to deliver consistent, high-quality project outcomes across a range of client accounts. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, commercial performance, and client satisfaction while positioning the business for sustainable growth.
Leadership & Strategy
Champion and embed a Zero Harm culture across all projects and teamsLead the development and execution of integrated Projects & FM operating modelsContribute to and deliver against national, regional, and global business performance objectivesEstablish and lead a centralized Projects & FM Centre of ExcellenceProject & Operational Delivery
Oversee a national Projects portfolio ensuring quality, cost control, and ROI outcomesProvide integrated project management and technical expertise across IFMS contractsStandardize and optimize project delivery frameworks, processes, and toolsEnsure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and FM licensing requirements across AustraliaPeople Leadership
Lead a team of 4 direct reports and ~80 indirect reportsCoach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams with strong succession planningDrive capability uplift across project and operational teamsClient & Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholdersActively support business development, tenders, and growth initiativesDeliver consultancy-led solutions that simplify and improve FM operational outcomesCommercial Performance
Own financial outcomes with strong focus on P&L performance, cost management, and profitabilitySupport sales growth through bid development, pricing strategy, and solution designPartner with Supply Chain to ensure compliant, high-value subcontractor arrangements You are a seasoned Projects leader with strong Facilities Management experience and the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
Essential Experience & Capability
Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Projects and/or Facilities Management leadership rolesProven track record managing large-scale project portfolios and high-performing teamsStrong commercial acumen with demonstrated P&L responsibilityExperience in tendering, bid preparation, and business developmentDeep understanding of FM service delivery models and integrated solutionsLeadership & Personal Attributes
