What we offer to be part of a friendly team, with direct support from the Director of Services in-depth induction to Second Step and all the relevant training and support you need to do your job well. Blended working across home and office base in Bristol, with some travel to other office bases in the South West monthly one-to-one sessions with your line manager

Main duties of the job We are seeking someone with a commitment to improving mental health outcomes through meaningful service user involvement to join us as Quality and Improvement Manager. Working closely with the Director of Services, you will lead our Quality and Improvement Team; revising, developing and managing the organisations quality assurance and improvement strategy and policies, coproduction strategy and policy and complaints management.

Job description Job responsibilities Develop and deliver an effective quality assurance and quality improvement strategy

Oversee the Quality Assurance Manager to deliver Quality Audits and monitor service improvement plans

Support our quality work in partnerships with other organisations

Support operational managers, ensuring issues identified through operational performance reports are identified, understood by managers and improvement plans developed and implemented.

Work with the Director of Services and Facilities Manager to oversee and monitor the health and safety plan for the organisation.

Contribute to the effectiveness of the Operations Management Team, Service Quality Committee and Health and Safety Forum

Person Specification

Experience Essential

Managing and developing staff Experience of implementing and improving systems and processes, particularly client-facing systems or client relationship management software; developing performance management systems, including identifying KPIs and tracking mechanisms Policy development and implementation; delivering multiple projects in a team or multidisciplinary environment; interpreting and analysing data Experience of working in the not-for-profit sector

Desirable

Experience of service user involvement Experience of implementing management systems Investigating complaints Experience of working in a mental health, housing, or social care organisation; experience of mental health issues and/or services, either as a user, carer or supporter Managing budgets
