EYFS Teaching Assistant Lower Meadow Primary Academy 21 hours per week - Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Salary: £12,728 - £13,137 (pro rata) Closing date: 14th June

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to support our Early Years provision. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young learners at a crucial stage in their education.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport children’s learning and development through engaging, play-based activitiesProvide tailored support to individuals and small groups to help them progressFoster positive relationships and act as a role model for behaviour and communicationContribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environmentAssist with planning, preparation, and delivery of EYFS activities alongside the class teacherObserve and share insights into children’s progress, development, and wellbeingSupport daily routines, including transitions and personal care where neededPromote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence in all pupilsWhat We’re Looking ForA caring and patient individual with a genuine passion for working with young childrenUnderstanding of child development within the Early Years Foundation StageAbility to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and familiesA proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learningGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamCommitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenWillingness to support all pupils, including those with additional needsOrganised and able to contribute to a well-managed classroom environment
